Job Description :Our Client requires the services Spatial ETL Developer to develop FME and Python scripts to convert spatial data sources to and from a CAD Standard.
The Client is implementing a new CAD Standard and a set of associated AutoCAD / Civil 3D templates that are based on the National CAD Standard (NCS) and Master Municipal Construction Documents (MMCD) CAD Standard. Moving to this standard is a first step in developing efficiencies in current infrastructure construction drafting processes. Along with other benefits, the Standard will provide consistency in CAD drawing data structure, allowing for the automation of drawing content extraction to downstream systems.
Must Have Primary Skills :
- Proficiency with FME and Python – minimum 2 years
Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD / Civil 3D – minimum 2 years
- Proficiency with SQL and / or other programming languages – minimum 2 years
- Strong communication & Strong interpersonal skills.
Proven Experience In :Deliverables for this contractor assignment include, but not limited to:
- FME and Python scripts aligned with the BASE project design.
- Documentation for all scripts developed.
- Knowledge transfer sessions with staff.
