Job Description :Our client is seeking a Manager, Application Services who will be responsible for the effective service delivery and operational management of the
Service Desk, Integrated Library System Administration and custom Application
Development team. The role is responsible for planning, project management, and
completion of all Integrated Library System projects; and for leading custom
business application development and enhancements.
Must Have Primary Skills :
- Seven years of progressively responsible and related experience,
including a minimum of 3 years of leadership, supervisory, and management
experience in an IT operations environment.

Experience working effectively in an IT-intensive
environment and leading projects that used technology effectively to solve
service problems.
Experience working within complex business and license
agreements or contracts and policies.

Experience developing, implementing, and
evaluating services and programs, and work procedures.

Experience with computers and mobile devices and
Microsoft Office and social software applications.

Experience leading projects/teams.
Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
- Efficiently
plans and manages time, and effectively manages complex and competing
workloads and shifting priorities in a high volume, complex environment.

- Administering the annual budget (e.g. approving

corrective action).

in the development, implementation and co-ordination of IT capital or long
range budgets and associated technology renewal schedule development.
- Evaluating, selecting and monitoring vendors to
ensure services are provided in the most effective manner in terms of cost,
timeliness, delivery, and fulfillment; providing input into development of tenders and
contracts with external service providers.
