Job Description :Our Edmonton based client is seeking Sr. Project Manager - IMT, who is responsible to initiate, plan, execute, control/monitor, close and perform post-implementation activities as well as the creation of supporting project documentation. 

Must Have Primary Skills :

• Minimum University graduation in business, management or a related discipline and four years related experience

OR two-year diploma in business, management or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution and six years related experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in developing detailed project management plans and strategies, estimate resource requirements, develop and monitor work plans for completion of project tasks 
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an Information Technology environment 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing IT solutions in a matrix environment
• Minimum 5 years experience identifying, analyzing and managing project risks and issues on IT projects and services

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Minimum 5 years of  experience in leading and facilitating conversations with multiple internal/external stakeholder groups and negotiations 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis of costs and benefits for IT solutions
• Minimum 5 years of experience with project change management processes 
• Minimum 3 years of experience Experience in resolving business issues and developing business solutions 
• Experience with developing and executing communication plans
