Job Description :Our esteemed Calgary-based client is seeking an experienced Devops/Network Engineer for a full-time position. 

Must Have Primary Skills :

• Minimum 5+  to 7 years of experience increasingly responsible IT Infrastructure administration in datacenter/SaaS architectures. 
• Minimum 5+  to 7 years of hands-on experience administering local and hosted infrastructure and complex cross-functional and cross-organizational projects for mid to large-scale technology companies
• Minimum 5+  to 7 years of experience of Linux Systems Administration (MySQL or Ubuntu)
• Minimum 4+ years of experience assisting MySQL and SQL Server Database Administration(infrastructure side).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience of Firewall and VPN design and implementation (Sophos)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience of Security/ Information Security Administration and Management (Cyber Defense, Penetration Testing, Digital Forensic and Incident Response, etc.)
• Infrastructure and Server up-time monitoring software
• Microsoft Windows Server Administration
• Linux Server Administration and  Office 365 administration experience
• Minimum 1+ Years of DevOps experience with Windows Server (SQLServer / .net / C#) or Linux Server (JAVA Script / PHP / NodeJS)      
• A background in hosted Amazon infrastructure
• Experience recommending new enterprise class technologies and processes that will improve overall reduce operating costs and/or provide a competitive advantage
• In-depth and highly technical understanding of and administration experience for all major functional areas of IT

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• BSc in Computer Science or related Engineering field is preferred.

Proven Experience In :

• Ensure the reliable, efficient operation of production infrastructure & services with 24x7x365 uptime requirement.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining all hosted infrastructure as well as office network infrastructure.
• Network strategic design, discovery and documentation, including logical and physical diagrams Ability to work under minimal supervision, self-directed
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others, train and mentor less-experienced engineers
• Continually seeking opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction
• Performs daily maintenance and monitoring of Local Area Networks (LAN) / Hosted Network infrastructure
• Partner with development and web operations teams to meet company goals, identify solutions to problems and proactively seek improvements in reliability and the performance of systems
• Identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency and responsiveness, make recommendations and assist with implementing efficiencies
• Leads teams implementing large scale IT initiatives
• Enterprise Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy, planning, and implementation experience
• Define and deploy Enterprise CRM solution (solution TBD)
