Job Description :Our Calgary-based client is looking for a senior Data Scientist/Developer to join their team for a full-time, permanent role.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• Minimum 6+ years of experience collaborating and working on software development projects
• Solid track record of managing and delivering enterprise or start-up SaaS applications
• Experience working on all levels of the technology stack – database, business logic, frontend, testing
• Knowledge and experience with Git, Python, JavaScript, MySQL/MariaDB, HTML and CSS

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Thrives working in a start-up environment – ability to wear multiple hats including taking tasks outside of the development realm
• Knowledge of Surveying, Geomatics or GIS industries

Proven Experience In :

• Design and implement a new machine learning based module for the SOLV3D engine™ application  
• Produce highly reliable and available software, built with best practices and standards, following an agile development methodology
• Collaborate within business teams to ensure development and architecture meets customers’ high expectations
