Job Description :Our client is looking for E-Commerce Software
Engineer and MVC champion with solid experience in launching, maintaining and
improving performance of large-scale eCommerce projects to join their Software
Engineering Team.
Must Have Primary Skills :
- Advanced knowledge of Magento,
JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
- Sound understanding of OOP
- Experience with complete eCommerce
lifecycle development.
- Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO,
Google Analytics, PPC, and A/B Testing.
- Sound knowledge of database designing
and application architecture planning for MVC projects.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL scripting
and My SQL database administration.
Nice To Have Secondary Skills :Good debugging skills with browser extensions & server tools.
Knowledge of internet security techniques and coding best practices.
Experience in creating and managing listings and selling products on various online marketplaces.
Experience in managing order fulfilment process (from order creation to product shipment).
Experience in customizing Magento front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates.
Experience in payment gateways and module integration
Demonstrable source control experience
Proven Experience In :Building and configuring Magento 1x and 2x eCommerce websites.
Participate in the migration of existing Magento 1x to 2x framework
Coding of the Magento templates.
Developing Magento modules using best practices.
Designing themes and interfaces.
Optimize code, database, cache and search performance.
Update website features and security patches.
Participate in the development life cycle of a Magento project including task estimation, development, cross- browser testing, bug resolution, deployment and maintenance
Configure, design, and develop integration solution to 3rd party extensions and applications
Troubleshooting integration issues.
Writes clean, efficient and well-engineered code that can serve as a standard of excellence for other team members.
Run agile ceremonies with internal and external teams
