Job Description :Our Ottawa based client is looking for Senior Android Developer to  develop applications primarily in Java/Kotlin and using the Android SDK

Must Have Primary Skills :

• At least 3-5 years of Android experience  ·        
• 5-10 years of software industry experience  ·        
• Solid understanding of Kotlin is an advantage  ·        
• 5-10 years of Mobile application development experience is a plus 

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Implement best practices for developing Android applications that target multiple devices and platform versions 
• Design, develop and test applications from the ground up 
• Work with outside data sources and REST APIs 
• Develop/deploy Android applications using Java and Kotlin 
• Troubleshoot, optimize and performance tune 
• Maintain a strict data security posture in the application 
• Maintain Android test automation systems 
• Set up build configurations to integrate with client continuous integration and source control systems 
• Set up and maintain automated testing systems
