Job Description :Our Toronto-based client is looking for an AWS Architect with DevOps Engineer experience to join their team for a full time, permanent role.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• 10+ years overall experience with at least 4+ years in AWS and minimum of 2+ years in DevOps
• Strong understanding of AWS foundation - VPC, Compute, Storage, Network & Security
• Ability to provision infrastructure using Cloud Formation or Terraform
• 2+ years of working knowledge on Chef or Puppet,  Ansible, Jenkins
• Understanding of GIT, CI/CD pipeline is added plus
• Hands on knowledge of Python or PowerShell or Node.JS
• Strong Administration skills in Linux and/or Windows

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Excellent communication skills

Proven Experience In :

• Develop design & architect solution using  AWS foundation services – VPC, Compute, Storage, Network & Security
• Develop and provision infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform templates
• Perform native Systems Administration functions using Scripting, etc in Linux and/or Windows environments
• Using DevOps tools perform deployment of new software and upgrades and complete fixes across environments
• Create or modify custom scripts and code using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, NodeJS, Bash script
• Working experience in tools like Chef, Puppet, , Ansible,  Jenkins, Atlassian, Azure DevOps
• Automating deployment of applications, system configurations and security settings
• Implementation of AWS & DevOps best practices and tooling
