Job Description :Our Winnipeg-based client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team for a full time, permanent opportunity.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a relevant college or university program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand business objectives and requirements and convert them into solution designs and project plans
• Experience in report development and data analysis
• Excellent verbal/written communication combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision-makers.
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Travel is required as needed. 

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Experience and knowledge in accounting, financial systems or financial reporting
• Experience with data mapping
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of retail industry in general, automotive retail in particular 

Proven Experience In :

• The Business Analyst will assist in data and business requirement gathering, process mapping, project coordination and report development. 
• The Business Analyst develops and enforces quality control and stewardship mechanisms. 
• Gathers, analyzes, specifies, validates, and documents both business and functional requirements of stakeholders, be they customers or business users. 
• Clearly identifies project stakeholders, conducts interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
• Conducts impact analyses, process maps and other analyses, as required.
• Works with stakeholders and business intelligence team to prioritize collected requirements.
• Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to supervisor, business unit stakeholders, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Creates reports and tools for data gathering, quality control or dissemination, as needed.
• Develops reports in Tableau and provides support to visualization analyst.
• Continue to identify and improve delivery efficiency in all projects. 
• Supports technical needs and responds to stakeholder’s request.
• Other duties as required.
