Job Description :Our Client is looking for a Product Analyst (Application Support) in Regina, SK. 

Must Have Primary Skills :
Required Experience:
  • supporting incidents raised by users via the Service Desk
  • providing technical support to users
  • using tools such as Service Now to document and route application incidents
  • analyzing application code and recommending fixes to defects
  • writing DDU (direct data updates) to fix application defects
  • using application development tools and data development tools
  • working with several team members in a tier 2 application support capacity
  • representing application outage causes and proposing preventative measures at RCA (root cause analysis)  meetings
  • working closely with application developers, analysts, and administrators during the debugging of real time outages
  • configuring assorted application monitoring utilities including database and New Relic events
  • generating reports using database queries as needed for Product owners and other assorted business units
  • providing on-call support during off hours
  • working with 3rd party support analysts during outages of 3rd party software
  • working with multiple teams on incidents and outages of product software
  • working with offshore team collaborating on longer running incidents
  • supporting application releases
  • Using automated testing tools
  • supporting 3rd party application configurations as required
  • working with 3rd party support analysts during outages of 3rd party software

Proven Experience In :
Description of Duties:
Working with the application support team responding to application incidents and queries
Working with Application development teams to resolve application defects
Providing technical support to Client's users
Developing DDU's / queries as required
