Job Description :Our client in Calgary is looking for IT Network Analyst with experience in ( Vulnerability and threat assessment) to join their team.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• · 5+ years responsibility for infrastructure & IT security
• Proficient with Endpoint, IPS/IDS and other technologies, multiple security consoles
• Broad knowledge of Firewalls, DMZs, , Panorama, anti-virus, email content and spam & web filtering
• · Experience supporting external pen test and vulnerability assessments
• Experience in NIST/ISO27001,27002,27005, COBIT 2015/19

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
· Superior problem analysis and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of CIS Top 20 best practice(GCIH Certified Incident Handler, CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional, etc.) certification preferred

Proven Experience In :
YPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:· Performs real-time security log and event analysis and acts within defined parameters to identify vulnerabilities and/or contain and mitigate security threats and escalate to the next level as needed based on severity · Reviews and analyzes security events, alerts, and determines their severity, and authors reports detailing the activity · Provides timely follow-up to stakeholders as appropriate and keeps management informed of changes in status during issue resolution · Research & evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them · Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activities · Use tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities · Work with IT groups to identify potential weaknesses and recommend measures to mitigate. · Coordinate with 3rd party security firms· Manage, deploy, and identify improvements to our infrastructure · Update, document and maintain IT security best practices, policies, and solutions
