Job Description :Our Client is looking for a Capital Sales Representative for a full-time role in Calgary. AB.

Must Have Primary Skills :
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience selling engineered rotating equipment and packaged solutions for major greenfield and sustaining capital projects in the Alberta Oilsands.
  • Combines a strong competitive nature with active listening skills and a consultative approach to selling.
  • Exceptional ability to present information and respond to questions from various stakeholder groups representing management, technical, and commercial interests both on the client-side and from within.
  • A Bachelor Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline with a focus on mechanical equipment designed for mining or related severe-duty market segments preferred. 


Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
  • Good communication skills
  • Consideration will also be given to candidates who do not have a technical education background but can demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge in the mentioned areas due to many years of selling experience.


Proven Experience In :
Key Responsibilities: Focus Area: 
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with EPC and end-user project teams to grow market share for our entire product portfolio.
  • Focus Area: Generating sales presentations, proposals, and contracts for opportunities as required while leveraging the support of Applications personnel and the appropriate Product Management team.
  • Focus Area: Effectively supporting the transition of awarded sales into production realization stages by liaising with Project Management, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Focus Area: Supporting the Oil Sands team by identifying new product and service growth opportunities within our target market while exceeding sales objectives.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • EPC contacts to bring to the table are key for this role, so you can hit the ground running
  • Experience on rotating/complex mechanical equipment in major projects
