Job Description :Our Client is looking for a Business Analyst for a contract role in BC.

Must Have Primary Skills :
• Knowledge of IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) knowledge areas and techniques.
• 6+ years of dedicated BA experience at the Senior level.
• Experience working with business users and subject matter experts to produce comprehensive requirements, gap analysis, current and future state design, and other analysis.
• Certifications preferred: CBAP, Six Sigma, PMP, ScrumMaster or Product Owner certification.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
Preferred Skills: • Solid skills in eliciting, creating and managing requirements, gained through applied work experiences (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban). • Process modelling. • Workshop planning and facilitation. • Business case development. • Expertise in collaborating and managing successful delivery with external IT development partners. • Intermediate to expert user of Visio, JIRA, and Confluence. • Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills. • Exceptional problem solving and analytical thinking/innovation, and development of contingency plans for risks.

Proven Experience In :
The successful Candidate will: • Provide core support to Client teams supporting a Data Centre Transformation initiative. These range from early-stage scope planning, analysis and documentation to support design/redesign of data centre foundational systems/structure, system/application migration/decommission, operational support, and a variety of other analysis or team needs as required. The analyst will operate within either a waterfall, agile environment or a hybrid environment, and requires close collaboration with both internal and external vendor stakeholders. • Partner with the Product owners/Business leads/Project Manager on road mapping, stakeholder engagement, scope management and prioritization. • Build and execute a solid business analysis (BA) approach to elicit, analyze and document/refine detailed user needs in user stories or other supporting artifacts as appropriate (working with internal stakeholders, vendors, other agile teams, etc.).
