Job Description :Our client is looking for a Business System Analyst - IBOR & ABOR (Remote)!

Must Have Primary Skills :
  • Strong working knowledge of Financial Instruments
  • Hands-on experience and deep knowledge of SimCorp Investment Accounting modules such as Finance configuration, General Ledger for instrument life cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience in configuring the fund administration module or financial accounting module in SimCorp Dimension (for example, configuration experience in Fund Administration, Accounting for fund of fund structure).
  • Demonstrated experience with configurations in SimCorp Dimension for Transaction processing, Portfolio Calculation, Filter Toolbox, Data Extractions.


Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
  • Demonstrated experience in a role from which strong operational knowledge, with a view of investment management industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with an investment finance or net asset valuation domains.
  • Demonstrated experience in roles requiring strong verbal and written communication skills.


Proven Experience In :
Responsibilities – SIMCORP Business Systems Analyst (IBOR & ABOR)

  •  Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for SIMCORP Dimension platform initiatives, ensuring effective communication of requirements and alignment with business objectives. 
  • Analyze and gather requirements related to both IBOR (Investment Book of Record) and ABOR (Accounting Book of Record), with a strong focus on supporting front, middle, and back-office operations. 
  • Lead or support the configuration and enhancement of SIMCORP modules to support daily investment and accounting processes including trade capture, positions, valuations, P&L reporting, NAV oversight, and reconciliation. 
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, process workflows, and technical documentation to support system development and integration activities. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Portfolio Management, Operations, Fund Accounting, and Technology to ensure IBOR/ABOR data accuracy and availability. 
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and target state systems and processes, identifying improvement opportunities in the IBOR and ABOR reporting streams. 
  • Support system testing activities including test planning, test case creation, UAT coordination, defect tracking, and resolution. 
  • Assist in SIMCORP Dimension upgrades or patches, with a focus on minimizing impact to IBOR and ABOR functionalities. 
  • Provide user support and training on system functionality and process changes, acting as a subject matter expert on IBOR/ABOR usage within SIMCORP. 
  • Monitor data quality and participate in issue triage and resolution in collaboration with data management and IT teams. 
  • Maintain clear documentation of business rules, system configurations, and data flows related to investment and accounting processes. 
  • Work in an Agile or hybrid project environment, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.
