Job Description :Our client in Edmonton is looking for Technical Lead – Infrastructure Operations!

Must Have Primary Skills :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Industry certifications, including Microsoft, VMware, Cisco CCNA and CCIE, and Fortinet NSE (Firewall certification).
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing enterprise server, storage, and network infrastructure in complex, regulated environments such as aviation, government, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and delivering cross-functional infrastructure projects.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure and AWS), network virtualization technologies (e.g., Cisco ACI), and hybrid infrastructure architectures.


Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
Server & Storage· 
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere, performance tuning, resource management. 
  • Storage: SAN, NAS, DAS; Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS.
  • Backup & Recovery: Veeam, Avamar, Data Domain; DR planning.

Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Operations, this dual-discipline leadership role is responsible for the planning, management, and performance of all server, storage, and network infrastructure services across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. The role ensures infrastructure availability, scalability, security, and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals, including the support of mission-critical systems, passenger services, and modernization initiatives.
