Job Description :Our client is looking for a IT Technical Lead(ITIL, Azure Administrator)  in Calgary, AB

Must Have Primary Skills :
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the technical team, ensuring best practices and high-quality service delivery.
  • Perform the management of MSP (Managed Service Providers) to ensure seamless operations and to track vendor performance.
  • Coordinate changes in the infrastructure through the CAB (Change Approval Board) in conjunction with all teams impacted.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle: purchasing, inventory, allocation, and replacement planningOversee support escalation
  • Maintain meeting room AV systems and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Certifications such as ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are preferred.

Proven Experience In :

  • Oversee technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide weekly updates to IT leadership and participate in strategic planning
  • Act as a point of contact for technical inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments of systems and network, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing appropriate cybersecurity measures to protect against threats and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor service metrics, generate reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement. 
  • Monitor and improve cybersecurity posture, including MDR (Managed Detection and Response), Vulnerability Management, phishing campaign analysis and training compliance
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure leadership or systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows servers, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and network architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Familiarity with cybersecurity tools
  • Experience with asset management, AV systems, and telecom platforms
