Job Description :Our client is looking for Sr. Financial Analyst (CPA or CFA) - Canada wide!

Must Have Primary Skills :

Undergraduate degree in Investment, Accounting, Finance or experience in a related field is required.
Working towards or completion of an accounting designation is an asset (CPA or CFA)
Ability to work independently, solve problems and make decisions under strict deadlines
Excellent communication skills dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

Knowledge of various types of investment products.
Specific knowledge of illiquid asset classes such as Infrastructure, Timber, Private Equity, and Private Debt would be an asset.

Proven Experience In :
Responsibilities will include:

Review external notices and record private investment transactions including capital call, distribution, loan rollover, interest capitalization etc. in SimCorp Dimension.
Assist with investment closing through documentation review, investment setup, transaction entries and settlements.
Update and maintain market value for private fund investments for Valuation purpose in Client’s systems.
Perform cash reconciliation on a daily basis.
Process invoice payments and record invoice transactions in Client's system.
Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by the manager or internal clients.
Resolve issues and make decisions under strict deadlines to ensure proper and timely resolution to problems inherent in the Private Investment Portfolios.
