Job Description :Our client is looking for Investment Finance NAV Quality Control (IFNQC)/Systems Accounting Specialist - Remote across Canada!
Must Have Primary Skills :
- 7+ yrs of experience working with SimCorp Dimension either in an accounting or technical capacity in complex portfolio structures and large data sets.
- 5+ years of experience with accounting configuration in SimCorp Dimension in a transformation or major system implementation context.

5+ years of experience
performing end-to-end testing and validation of the new accounting system and data migration, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.

5+ years of experience
performing reconciliations between legacy and new accounting systems, including verification of data conversion, transformation logic, balances, and transactional integrity.
- 3+ years
performing
diagnose and resolve complex NAV issues, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across accounting, operations, and investment data sources.
- 2+ years performing
data analytics and technical skills in various programming languages and data visualization software such as PowerBI, Power Queries, SQL Server, Python, Snowflake, etc.

with capital markets products and complex financial instruments, including derivatives and structured products.

Proven Experience In :

Hands‑on experience with SCD accounting functionality — including finance schemes, FAAs, GL accounts, transactions, and subledger‑to‑general ledger reconciliations.
- Proven ability to manage large‑volume data migration and reconciliation during system implementation projects.
- Skilled in regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) for ABOR implementations.
- Familiar with multiple asset classes and their accounting configurations within SCD.
Responsibilities:
The Specialist, Investment Finance NAV Quality Control will assist in the accuracy of the NAV to address and prevent anomalies that were overlooked during normal business hours and report on the NAV accuracy. Daily you will review transactions and positions and complete reconciliations across Company's entire portfolio. You will ensure the accuracy of the Net Asset Value (NAV) by working to address and prevent anomalies that were overlooked during the normal business hours and report on NAV accuracy.
As the successful Specialist, IFNQC, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Subject matter expert on the NAV processes, including resolution of complex NAV issues and ensuring that the daily NAV is correct and free of any material errors, as per the Pre NAV validation correction guideline, and report on the NAV accuracy.
- Completing daily reconciliations to substantiate the completeness and accuracy of the NAV and responding to related accounting/audit queries as they arise.
- Collaborating with Finance/Operations teams to identify the root cause of NAV errors and provide accounting guidance on implementing preventative measures.
- Continuously enhancing, automating, and expanding the Pre-NAV Validation process using various platforms including SimCorp Dimension (SCD), SQL/Snowflake, and PowerBI dashboards.
- Providing support and leading cooperative efforts, including, but not limited to NAV error resolution and prevention efforts.
- Signing off on daily accounting exception management.
- Contributing to the development of test cases, validating system enhancements and participating in assigned change management activities.
- Assisting management to improve processes, documentation, and reliability and perform other such tasks as required by the Investment Finance department.
