Job Description :Our client is looking for Business Analyst in Calgary!

Must Have Primary Skills :
5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting application development or modernization projects.
 Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
 Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
 Knowledge of source control, branching strategies, merging, and repository governance.
 Experience documenting current-state and future-state technical processes and workflows.
 Experience supporting cloud migration and/or application modernization initiatives.
 Ability to coordinate across development, QA, DevOps, cloud engineering, and business stakeholders.
 Experience with deployment planning, functional validation, regression testing, and production readiness.
 Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
Experience with Azure Cloud environments and cloud-native application delivery.
 Knowledge of DevOps best practices and deployment automation.
 Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality assurance processes.
 Familiarity with application performance monitoring and operational readiness reviews.
 Experience defining release management processes and deployment strategies.
 Exposure to infrastructure modernization or platform engineering initiatives.
 Experience working in enterprise-scale application transformation programs.
 Knowledge of ITIL or application support processes.
 Previous experience in financial services, energy, or other highly regulated industries.

Proven Experience In :
Collaborate with application, DevOps, and cloud teams to support application modernization and cloud migration initiatives. Analyze and document current-state and future-state application delivery processes. Support CI/CD pipeline implementation, release management, and deployment readiness. Coordinate build, test, release, and production deployment activities across technical teams. Review branching strategies, source control, and repository governance using Azure DevOps and Git.
