Job Description :Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to program staff and management in Calgary and Edmonton!
Must Have Primary Skills :
- 1 year of customer service and/or retail sales experience.
- 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot while working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- 1 year of experience in a role requiring strong analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- 1 year of hands-on experience working in a complex environment requiring effective prioritization of multiple tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience using electronic document management systems is an asset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach.
Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
- 1 year of experience in records and document management, with a strong understanding of the records lifecycle for both physical and electronic records within information management systems.
- 1 year of experience working within a Government environment or an organization of similar size and complexity.
- 1 year of experience supporting projects spanning multiple technical environments.
- 1 year of experience performing administrative and office support duties.

This is a hybrid contract opportunity available to candidates located in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.
- The contract runs from September 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
- Employees may be required to work onsite up to three or four days per week, depending on the assigned schedule and team rotation.
Proven Experience In :Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to program staff and management.
- Receive, sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
- Scan, file, process, and route documents to the appropriate staff members, teams, and mailboxes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documents are stored and filed according to established procedures.
- Review, track, organize, and prepare documents for management approval and signature.
- Perform data entry and maintain information within electronic document management systems.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies, forms, envelopes, and other administrative resources.
- Coordinate and distribute inter-office mail, courier packages, and other correspondence.
- Respond to routine inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate department or individual.
- Support administrative processes related to program applications, verification activities, and client documentation.
- Ensure confidential, personal, and sensitive information is handled securely and appropriately.
- Assist with special projects and complete other administrative duties as assigned.
