Job Description :Our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager(Azure, AWS, GCP) Remote across Canada.

Must Have Primary Skills :
  • Resource’s experience managing web software development projects on cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) including release governance, environment management, CI/CD processes, and deployment coordination.
  • A minimum of three (3) years directly project managing agile web-software development project(s)
  • University degree or two-year diploma in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution and seven (7) years of experience on web-based software development projects. OR One-year certificate in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution and nine (9) years of experience on web-based software development projects
  • Resource’s experience in risk management and mitigation within web software development projects, including risk identification, assessment, tracking, and implementation of mitigation strategies. 
  • Include relevant project details such as years experience, project objectives, the Resource’s role and responsibilities, and outcomes achieved
  • Provide Project Management services for the development, implementation, and support to related applications.
  • Provide program support and project management within the branch as required.
  • Provide technical leadership to the project team.
  • Manage and lead multiple projects and teams concurrently
  • Provide architectural guidance for both cloud and non-cloud-based solutions
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and provide project management direction to branch staff and consultants, aligning with department goals, strategies, and standards, and subject to branch oversight
  • Escalate issues and risks promptly and appropriately
  • Deliver weekly status reports to the Director and Senior Manager of the Digital Content Management and Delivery branch, providing updates on project status, task reviews, and associated timelines
  • Lead or assist in the development of business cases and other technical documents as needed
  • Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements, as necessary.
  • Report on projects and manage them using industry-standard project management practices and tools

  • Use AI‑assisted tools, where appropriate and as approved by the Province, to enhance project management effectiveness, with all project management decisions and outcomes validated by the technical project manager.
