Job Description :Our client in Calgary is looking for a Project Director to join their team.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Over 12 years of leadership experience in large-scale, diverse technology environments, preferably in construction or related industries.
• Proven track record in leading strategic technology projects, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation.
• Expertise in multiple technology domains, with a strong understanding of their business applications and values. 
• Experience in change management and guiding organizations through technology transitions.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, adept at influencing and driving strategic decisions.

Proven Experience In :

• Providing overall leadership and direction for multiple projects, aligning them with the organization's strategic goals and objectives Project Delivery Lifecycle & Coordination: Take ownership of projects from initiation through planning and execution to closure.
• Ensure that project managers are effectively managing their respective projects, staying on track with milestones and budgets
• Budget and Finance Management: Creating and overseeing project budgets, making financial decisions to keep projects within their budgetary constraints 
• Risk Management and Problem-Solving: Identifying, mitigating, and resolving project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns Stakeholder Communication
